Rebranding the corporate identity of the Ponton Group. Ponton has been working for reliable sex education of young people since 2002. Ponton volunteers run workshops at schools, appear in the media, publish articles, reports and reviews. They also offer advice online, via a discussion forum, social media and a helpline.
The main area of activities of the Ponton Group is education about contraception as well as interpersonal relationships, especially intimate ones. The purpose of the change was to modernize the image of the organization and reach the main audience, which is youth.
The Ponton Group provides young people with very important knowledge based on scientific facts. Sex education in Poland has dyficult topic, there are still many myths here. In the mainstreem media we have not the clear position on this topic. Therefore, work in this area is particularly difficult. That is why it is important to create an atmosphere of security and trust during conversations and contacts with recipients. And also that the knowledge be transferred without additional barriers in the form of a complicated language or terminology.
That is why all Ponton materials and narration addressed to young people are created in a simple, and friendly way. We tried remember these values during we working witch new identification. In the sign we use a heart symbol representing emotion and feelings, and a condom that is associated with contraception and health protection. The identification is open, the inscription is light and soft. A diverse arrangement of letters is allowed, playing with the inscription: in some compositions letters float or are scattered. It also makes some reference to human relationships: that are not always clear and obvious.
The new identification refers to the previous sign in orange and with associations. The symbol of a condom, a lifebuoy or a ponton was used by the Ponton Group from the beginning of the organization. The logotype is used during workshops, in press publications, reports and reviews as well as educational materials published by the Ponton Group..

Ponton is an informal group of volunteers affiliated with the Federation for Women and Family Planning.
They believe everyone has the right to live in an egalitarian and diverse society, in which sexuality is considered to be an integral and equal part of life.
Their mission is to work with and for young people, to foster their psychosexual development and to ensure that they have access to knowledge and to a safe space where they can realize their full potential.
Ponton Group has been working since 2002 to provide young people with decent sex education. We call ourselves young counsellors. Our scope of action includes mainly sex education and counselling for young people about sexuality in its widest sense.
They believe decent sex education not only prevents many misfortunes, such as STIs, unwanted pregnancies or sexual violence, but also makes it possible for young people, equipped with adequate knowledge, to take more conscious, safer decisions about their sex life. They become more assertive, as well as they are able to identify violence and to respect their own and other people’s boundaries.
